Yesterday morning, summer intern (Natalie) and I attended our Examining Trial on this case. We came away with more questions than answers.
We still have been given very limited discovery (that means evidence/police report/autopsy/toxicology/etc.) The lead detective did reveal, upon my questioning, that he is searching for an “unknown” hispanic who knew the victim and who had been present in the apartment.
These videos might be confusing, so let me give a very brief summary of what we DO know.
On 6/2/2025, Dallas police responded to a health and wellfare check at my client’s Dallas apartment (Forest Lane/75).
Upon entry to the apartment, police found the deceased victim’s body, and client was immediately arrested.
According to the Affidavit for Arrest Warrant, “investigation of the crime scene by crime scene analysts, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office, and Homicide Detectives revealed that the complainant suffered multiple puncture and incised wounds consistent with a bladed weapon being used”.
The police and crime scene investigators allegedly spent approximately 3 hours processing the crime scene on June 2, 2025.
So you can imagine our surprise, when on Saturday 6/7/2025, Natalie and I were escorted into the apartment and we found THIS…
All of this “evidence” was set to be trashed by the apartment complex.
When we found this, we called 911/Homicide detectives and when the police finally responded Natalie and I escorted them into the apartment.
We also then called the victim’s family, informed them what we had found, let them in through the locked apartment gate, and escorted them up the stairs to the apartment.
Stay tuned……
PS: I had to tell Aggie intern Natalie that this sort of thing never ever ever happens, but this is what her 2-month sample size has looked like. And she even got to meet legendary George Milner at a separate crime scene. 😉
