Some Atlanta intersections carry a much greater risk of serious crashes than others.
Atlanta’s Vision Zero Action Plan identified 20 High Injury Intersections, including Northside Drive at Marietta Street, Northside Drive at 10th Street, and Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard at Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.
Even more telling, the city’s High Injury Network covers less than 10% of Atlanta’s surface streets but accounted for about 73% of fatal and serious injury crashes during the five-year period studied.
When a serious intersection crash occurs, determining fault may require looking closely at traffic camera footage, witness statements, vehicle damage, traffic signals, police reports, and other evidence.
At Van Sant Law, we investigate Atlanta car crashes to determine what happened and who may be held responsible.
