Deerbrook Editions An independent literary press, Deerbrook Editions publishes writers in well designed trade paperbacks. Recently the press has become a member of Fracture Atlas.

Books are available on its Website, spdbooks.org, amazon.com. Book stores please send an email with a PO # and shipping address; no minimum order. Deerbrook Editions is an independent literary press located in Cumberland County, Maine. Books that sell well have much to thank the author for his or her engagement in marketing and promotion, whatever they do in the way of readings and other kinds of e

vents. Most of the work the director does is volunteer, and the revenues generated primarily go to creating new books. As a Fiscal Sponsorship Project the press can raise funds by tax deductible donations to Fractured Atlas on behalf of the press. Deerbrook Editions publishes poetry, fiction,and literary nonfiction. Please, if you can, make a tax deductible donation. Deerbrook is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the purposes of Deerbrook must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Through our publishing, authors reach a wider audience, become more visible for awards, reviews, and media exposure. A well designed trade book can aid writers in applying for literary grants or fellowships; in general, not only do we promote their work by offering an alternative to mainstream publishing, in essence we create a community for writers and artists by bringing communities something they didn't know they had.
