I have spent the last week trying to address the needs of my family and clients during this uncertain time. I know that I am not alone, and neither are you.

I am moved and inspired by all the service professionals that are putting their lives at risk each time they go to work. I would like to offer those individuals (medical personnel and their support staff, grocery workers, utility workers and anyone else that is keeping society going), a free Advanced Health Care Directive.

Health care documents and powers of attorney are very important right now for people who are at the highest risk for contracting the virus. With these documents, you can appoint someone to help manage your finances and health care needs so that you can continue to stay quarantined.

I am also offering a free 15 minute consultation so that you can ask any questions about estate planning, wills, trusts, health directives or powers of attorney.

GIVING TUESDAY

Geslin Law is helping to collect winter coats for LA's homeless youth on behalf of My Friend's Place (MFP), a non-profit organization with a homeless youth drop-in center located in Hollywood, CA. They serve over 1300 homeless youth on an annual basis. LA's homeless youth population is on the rise and over 4,000 youth are currently living on LA's streets. This is a 22% increase from 2018.

It's Giving Tuesday, everyone. So open up those closets. Find those old coats and jackets that you don't need any longer. Send or give them to us and we'll make sure the winter wear gets into the hands of the young people who need them the most! Email [email protected] for drop-off information. If you're local, we'll even pick them up by 12/13.
