Creative improvisation is one of our core values - on stage and in the courtroom. Like an improv show, what happens during a trial can be unpredictable. Rather than holding tightly and trying to control every variable, it's better to accept things as they are and (say it with us) roll with the punches.

You may be familiar with the saying, "curiosity killed the cat." But did you know that there is a second half to this well-worn axiom?
*
The full phrase is: "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back." Even when uncovering the truth is risky, the knowledge you gain is inherently worth it. Curiosity about how and why people behave is one of the core tenets of our philosophy. Finding better ways to communicate, and what moves people is why we do what we do - and why, 40 years later, we're still in business.

Introducing consultant, actor, director, and writer Wayne T. Carr. Wayne's first love was football: he started at a young age and played through college at FSU - Frostburg State University in western Maryland. Wayne's next love, storytelling, began in his family church in D.C.

Both his love of storytelling and football led him to the craft of acting. A love of Shakespeare's poetry led him to work in theatres across the country like: Guthrie Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Milwaukee Rep, Folger, Utah, and Hudson Valley Shakespeare, to name a few.
He's worked with and coached executives, lawyers, and A-list actors such as Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. He believes that we are a combination of the stories we've been told and the stories we've experienced, and that stories shape our lives. You may have recently run into Wayne in either of the Carolinas, where he presented for both the North Carolina Association of Justice and the South Caroline Association of Justice [LOOK FOR TAGS].
