As a professional, certified mediator I work with couples, attorneys, and corporate individuals to assist in settling disputes in the most civil, respectful way possible. In 2005 I attended Loyola Law School and received a certificate in Family Law and Civil Law Mediation. My area of concentration is divorce, child custody, visitation, support and community property division. Couples meet togethe
r or separately to work out issues involving their minor children and all assets acquired during the marriage refferred to as the Community in Louisiana. When the issues are agreed upon a Consent Agreement is signed by the parties and notorized. Mediation saves time money and involves much less stress than litigation. The parties basically make decisions they feel are in the best interest of the family keeping in mind that there are statues in Louisiana that are used as guidelines. If a problem arises in the future the parties are encouraged to return to mediation before heading to Court. I have also mediated employment cases at the EEOC. I have additional experience mediating employee conflicts and willing to travel to your company or business to mediate. Employee mediations are often successful.
