Exciting news for those interested in new housing options throughout the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties: California’s Senate Bill 684 now streamlines the approval process for certain small-lot developments. For urban infill sites that qualify, subdivisions of up to 10 units can receive ministerial approval within 60 days—no environmental review or public hearings required, as long as they meet the size and unit criteria.
