Some days are long. Some are stressful. Some leave me tired in ways I didn’t expect. But I know there will come a day when I look back on all of it—the challenges, the late nights, the pressure, the wins—and realize just how much those moments shaped me.

I’ll have stories to share, lessons I earned, memories I’ll always carry, and work I can be genuinely proud of.

Every day, I’m grateful for the opportunity to get up, put my best foot forward, and do something I truly love. Not everyone gets that opportunity, and I never want to take it for granted.

No matter how hard the day gets. No matter how tired I may be. I’m blessed to be doing the work, building the vision, and becoming stronger through the process.

Honored to attend the 2026 State of the District and see firsthand the incredible work happening throughout CCISD.

One of the most meaningful parts of the event was watching our students take center stage through inspiring performances and the interactive “Hearts & Minds Virtual Showcase,” which highlighted both student achievement and the dedication of the educators helping shape their futures.

Events like this are an important reminder that investing in education is an investment in the future of our entire community. I’m grateful to the Corpus Christi Education Foundation and everyone working to provide innovative programs, resources, and opportunities for local classrooms.

Our students are the future of Corpus Christi, and it takes all of us—educators, families, businesses, and community leaders—to continue creating opportunities for them to succeed.
