“Not every case ends in a win.”

Catherine Hilliard shared that reality with our interns, because understanding the practice of law means understanding both sides of the courtroom: the cases you win, and the ones that don’t go the way you hoped.

Trial work isn’t about having a perfect record. It’s about preparation, persistence and knowing that every case brings a new set of facts, challenges and lessons. A loss can force you to rethink your strategy. A hard-fought win can show you what preparation makes possible. And both can make you a better advocate.

At the end of the day, our responsibility doesn’t change based on the outcome. When a client trusts us with their story, they deserve our preparation, our experience and our willingness to fight until there’s nothing left to give. ⚖️

Parents, we wanted to make sure this was on your radar.

Hundreds of complaints have reportedly been filed involving Millie Moon diapers, with parents describing reactions including severe redness, rashes, welts, blistering and peeling.

We know how quickly parents go through diapers and how much trust you put into the products you use on your little ones every single day. When concerns like these are being raised, we believe families deserve to know about them.

At this time, we have not identified an official CPSC recall or stop-use warning for Millie Moon diapers. However, if your child experiences a concerning skin reaction while using any diaper product, stop using the product and contact your pediatrician.

Please share this with a parent or caregiver who may use Millie Moon. Sometimes simply making someone aware can make a difference.
