There were some bills heard in Texas today regarding child support HB2264 and HB2265 and some parents raised concerns thinking that the bills would prohibit parents from making child support agreements. I did not read these bills this way. The other concern was that the bills would allow an increase in child support without a hearing. Again, I do not read these bills this way.

If you have a concern about what a bill says or how it might be interpreted and you could not make it to the public hearing you can call or email the sponsors of the bills and ask them. (From Sherry Palmer)

Unconstitutional practices harm families and children and impact businesses negatively. The family court practices endanger everyone. The AG brags about collecting 4.37 billion dollars in child support. How many of these orders had to strip a child from their fit parent to justify the amount ordered? Does the AG inform fathers of what their fundamental parental rights are before he coerced him into orders that give up those rights?
