Thank you Axiom and to my colleague Essence McGill Arzu - with whom I collaborated to create the presentation - “New Rules of the Game for AI M&A” (How the Environment is Changing for Organizations Selling or Acquiring AI Products and Services). Essence shared the session yesterday with the live audience. This CLE helps decode new AI reality checks for conducting effective due diligence. If you think M&A is tough, adding AI assets to the deal table takes that challenge (which includes examining data lineage, cross-border issues, etc.) to a whole other level!

♠️ The Aspen Institute Aspen! 💗 🌳 75 year Anniversary! Grateful for a glorious time in Aspen where I got to join Aspen Society member Natalie Butto (Thank you, Natalie!) to (it had been a while!) explore the beauty of the area, get to know the Institute better and, among other things, attend amazingly insightful talks by Scott Galloway (whose work I follow closely) and, separately, David Brooks, columnist for The New York Times / founder of Weave, the social fabric project at The Aspen Institute / and the list goes on…(who has been a constant presence for me for many years through his writings, his commentaries on PBS, etc.). Each of these leaders are contributing so very much to so many areas of human endeavor, including to civic dialogue and civic engagement. I salute them! 🇺🇸

Enjoying the Association of Corporate Counsel Legal Ops Con (happening in Chicago). (Today - April 11 - is the last day of the Conference.) Great to connect with Axiom colleagues, and with other wonderful folks helping to manage around the world. The field of is moving very quickly and in exciting directions to enhance significantly how business teams, and the legal teams supporting them, do the work of building and protecting company value/assets.

It’s wonderful to be at Aspen Climate, Day 2, on Miami Beach 🌊😎. It’s very inspiring to be around concerned citizens, scientists, policymakers, corporate leaders, innovators, artists, students, academics, etc. who have come to learn the latest about the realities of climate change and what is being done / what is in development / what we can do about it. We each have a role in promoting / protecting the health of our planet 🌏.
