To all of my fellow Florida bar takers waiting on results tomorrow:
First — to those who passed: CONGRATULATIONS! You earned this. Every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every moment you wanted to quit but did not, it all paid off. Welcome to the Bar. You are exactly where you are supposed to be, and the legal community is better for having you in it. Celebrate yourself fully and without apology. You deserve every single bit of this moment.
If tomorrow did not bring the result you were expecting, please hear me clearly: this is not the end of your story. This is a detour. And detours, as painful and frustrating as they feel in the moment, sometimes take us exactly where we were always meant to go.
You did not come this far to stop here. The same grit, the same passion, and the same heart that carried you through law school and through that exam is still inside you — and it is more than enough to carry you through this too.
I am not going to pretend it does not hurt. It does. Allow yourself to feel it. But do not let it define you, and do not let it lie to you about your future, because your future in this profession is still very real.
I am praying for you tonight — for peace over your heart, for strength in the days ahead, and for the kind of clarity that only comes through hard seasons. God does not waste a single struggle, and this one will not be wasted either.
You are loved. You are supported.
This is just a detour, not a dead end. Keep going.
With all my love and prayers.
