I hope today, of all days, we recognize the beauty in our diversity and in our contras. We are a masterpiece of creation. Our differences make us of great value to our society, not cause for suspicion, fright and danger. Let us shout ""Vive la différence." To that end, the words of Martin Luther King bring light to the darkness: "Love is the greatest force in the universe. It is the heartbeat of the moral cosmos. He who loves is a participant in the being of God."
