I told them good luck outdoing themselves next year because WOW — this was hands down the best Mother’s Day yet.
I woke up to a plethora of gifts and from that moment on I had zero idea what the day held… which made it even better. Every single detail was spot on. These two really know me 🥹
We kicked things off with Mother’s Day breakfast tea time— officially a new tradition. The vibes, the service, the food… perfection.
Then came a total surprise trip to Bal Harbour Shops for some book shopping (yes please 📚), followed by strolling past fountains, koi fish, turtles… and sitting down for wine + light reading🫶🏻
And because they really know me… the schedule included a nap. A sacred, non-negotiable nap. Especially now that I basically live on my new sofa 😆
We wrapped it all up with a girls spa night at home, sushi for dinner, and a movie. Absolute heaven.
And in the middle of all this, I had one of those quiet moments… realizing that 10 years ago, I made one of the most important decisions of my life. I walked into Conceptions Florida to see Dr. Carlos Hernandez-Rey wondering why we couldn’t get pregnant…
One surgery, lots of patience, 2 IUI’s, a switch of doctors, 1 IVF and I got exactly what my heart needed to feel complete.
So yeah… Sunday wasn’t just perfect. It was everything 💕
