We want to take this time to reintroduce our dynamic attorney duo Katherine Hernandez & Janelle Duran for those who are new to our page!

Katherine Hernandez, Esq. was born and raised in beautiful Miami, Florida and is of hispanic descent and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Ms. Hernandez attended The Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and later received her Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
During her time in law school, Ms. Hernandez worked for the Miami-Dade public defender’s office and was active in the dispute resolution, family, and dependency clinics.
Prior to The H & D Law Firm, Ms. Hernandez worked as a family law attorney at a Miami law firm representing clients in dissolutions of marriage, paternity, child custody, child support, and post judgment actions. Ms. Hernandez is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and is also active in the Family Law Section.

Janelle Duran, Esq. was born and raised in beautiful Miami, Florida and is of hispanic descent and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Ms. Duran attended Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and later received her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Thomas University School of Law.
During her time in law school, Ms.Duran served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rodolfo Ruiz and received a Commendation Pro Bono Award for dedicating over 100 hours of community service.
Prior to The H & D Law Firm, Ms. Duran worked as a criminal and family attorney at a Miami law firm representing clients in domestic violence issues, dissolutions of marriage, paternity, child custody, parent relocations, child support, and post judgment actions. Ms. Duran is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar and is also active in the Family Law Section.
