The Canes did it! And our newest Caniac Patricia demanded that I take this picture of her hoisting the Stanley Cup today. Shortly after this picture was taken, Raven and Patricia each got five minute majors for fighting because Raven is somehow still salty about the Canadiens losing.

Four wins away from Lord Stanley's Cup, so of course we had to take a picture showing our support. Once again, we only had one jersey, so we're photoshopped together. Please note that Patricia has fallen head over heels for the Canes and is super entusiastic about then now. Raven is less so. She refused to wear the logo and wanted to express her disapproval (I convinced her thumbs down instead of middle fingers up) for her beloved Canadiens getting knocked out. Our summer help, Sophia, wasn't sure what was going on, but didn't want me calling her a nerd (again), so she went along with the photo. Go Canes!

When you want to show your support for the Canes as they kick off the Eastern Conference Finals, but one member of your staff turns out to be a hug Candiens fan and won't take a picture, and the other doesn't even know that you're talking about sports. Either way, Go Canes!

p.s. since she didn't know that we were talking about hockey, Patricia didn't have a jersey, so we took a separate picture of her in my jersey and photoshopped them together. That kind of calm under pressure is what you can expect at Kraus & Phillips at all times.

Also, The Cabarrus Compass is probably the closest thing that we have to actually having a local news source. You should check it out.

Through volunteers, one-on-one relationships and community partnerships, the nonprofit is addressing a growing — and often overlooked — need.

This year Kraus & Phillips was proud to be a sponsor of the annual Cabarrus county boys and girls club annual pancake day. It was a worthy cause in every sense of the word and the food was good too.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone. We all dressed up for the big day today. Raven and Patricia insisted that I take their picture for the facebooks. Patricia also insisted that we refer to her as Esther all day for some reason. Since she is the one true Irish Lady among us, we did it for her. But it was weird.
