If you’re not from Cabarrus County, let me catch you up. Concord and Kannapolis have had a little “friendly” rivalry for a long time… and by friendly, I mean ask somebody about the old football games and watch what happens. 🏈

Concord was founded in 1796, Kannapolis became a city in 1984, and somewhere along the way I-85 became the unofficial line in the sand.

If you grew up in North Carolina, you already know Kannapolis came with a whole personality attached to it. 😏 But these days? The real estate market is making plenty of noise all by itself.

Here’s the scoop:

🏠 210 homes available
💰 Prices from $99,000 all the way up to $1,300,600
✍️ 140 homes currently under contract
⏰ Average time to find a buyer: 49 days

Translation? There’s room at the table for just about everybody.

One thing to remember though… Kannapolis lives in two counties — Cabarrus and Rowan. Different schools. Different taxes. Different leadership. Don’t assume… ask questions. (That’s what REALTORS are for, friends. 😉)
