The underlying dispute concerns a long-running feud between Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians and the trucking defense firm McMickle, Kurey and Branch. The attorneys at the firm want to amass data on referral relationships between orthopedic practices and personal injury firms to use as evidence in other cases.
On its motion for reconsideration, though, Ortho Sport argued that the court didn't address two remaining issues.
Ortho Sport & Spine Physicians is represented by Yasha Heidari of Delgado Heidari, while Zach Matthews of McMickle, Kurey & Branch represents his firm.
