As lawyers presenting your case in a proposed settlement or in trial to a jury, we are prepared to present the tangible and intangible aspects of your loss. As an injured person, or as someone who lost a loved one in a fatal accident, you are entitled to compensation for your losses. Seeking and obtaining this financial compensation can be a frustrating and complicated process — if you decide to go it alone. When you put one of the good guys from our firm on your side, you can put your legal worries behind you. We handle all negotiations and interactions with the insurance companies. We protect our clients' rights, stand up against bad faith insurance practices, and seek the fair compensation you deserve. Talk to one of the good guys from the Law Offices of Gary Bruce. Tonight, Synovus Park goes to the dogs one last time this season.

All summer, Columbus has turned Wet Nose Wednesday into the best people-watching and dog-watching in town. Old dogs, puppies, and a few PAWS pups who found their families right there in the stands. Tonight's the last chance to be part of it.

Comment your dog's name if you're bringing them, and we'll be looking for you.

Thank you for this kind review. Notes like this one mean a great deal to everyone on this team.

Reviews like this one are the whole point of doing this work.

Nobody calls us on a good day. So when somebody takes the time afterward to write this, it means the team did their job when it counted most.

If you're going through something similar, call us.

Every August I watch drivers roll right past a stopped school bus because they assumed the rule didn’t apply to their side of the road.

Here’s the Georgia rule. Red lights flashing means both directions stop. The only exception is a divided highway with an actual median or barrier between you and the bus. A center turn lane doesn’t count, and that’s the one that catches people.

Kids are back out at those bus stops starting this week. Share this with every driver in your house.

One of the first things people tell me after a wreck is "but it might have been partly my fault." They've talked themselves out of a case before they ever pick up the phone.

Georgia doesn't work that way. As long as you're less than 50 percent at fault, you can still recover. Your share just reduces what you get. It doesn't erase it. The adjuster knows this. They're hoping you don't.

Call us before you accept that the wreck was your fault. Free consultation.

Closing arguments are expected next week in the Lindsay Clancy trial, and twelve jurors will face one of the hardest questions in our legal system.

Nobody disputes what happened in that Massachusetts home. The question is criminal responsibility. The defense says severe postpartum psychosis meant she could not understand what she was doing. The prosecution says she could. That distinction, capacity versus conduct, is the entire case.

These trials are heartbreaking from every angle, and there's no take that makes them less so. But understanding what the jury is actually weighing matters. What's your view on how the law should handle cases like this?

Six students went to the hospital when a school bus partially overturned in Barrow County last week. In Hall County, a driver was cited for DUI after hitting a bus. School has been back for barely two weeks.

Here's the part worth sitting with. In most school bus crashes, the bus isn't the problem. Another driver is. The person following too close, checking a phone, or rolling past flashing red lights.

Those buses are carrying our kids. If this reminds even one driver to slow down this week, it was worth posting.

Your kid rides to school every morning without a seat belt, and it’s completely legal.

Most full-size school buses are designed around compartmentalization instead. High padded seats packed close together to cushion a crash. It works well in front and rear collisions. The debate is about rollovers and side impacts, where belts could make the difference. Add in the cost per bus and questions about emergency evacuations, and you can see why districts have gone back and forth on this for decades.

We hear from parents on both sides. Tell us where you stand and why.
