October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we’re proud to recognize Perez Morris Partner Beth Weeden for her longstanding commitment to supporting survivors in our community.

Beth has been involved with LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence, Franklin County’s only domestic violence shelter and crisis hotline, since 2018. She served as Chair of the CHOICES Advisory Board from 2023 to 2026 and now serves on the Board of Directors for its parent organization, Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio.

Her impact is far-reaching and includes volunteer work at the shelter, fundraising efforts, and advocacy at the Ohio Statehouse. We’re grateful for Beth’s sustained commitment to helping survivors find safety and hope.

We were honored to host the Ohio Women's Bar Association in Cleveland last week for Leading the Way: 35 Years of Women’s Leadership.

The evening brought together women across the legal community to reflect on the leaders who have helped shape our profession, celebrate the women carrying that work forward today, and look ahead to the next generation. As Ohio’s largest woman-owned business law firm, we believe strong communities are built when people create space for one another to connect, share experiences, build relationships, and open doors for those coming next.
