Nothing from Ohio...yet! but more states are finding that the smell of ma*****na alone is no longer probable cause to search a vehicle.

Now that the vast majority of US states have some form of legal cannabis, judges across the country are ruling that the odor of cannabis is no longer probable cause for a police search.

This article is TERRIBLY misleading. Ma*****na is NOT legal in Ohio. While current technology employed by law enforcement cannot test for THC levels, a number of labs local to the state of Ohio can and you can bet law enforcement will have that technology themselves here real soon. Further, the State has 6 months on a misdemeanor and 6 YEARS on a felony. In other words, they might have to wait to charge you but they STILL CAN CHARGE YOU
