I'm really proud to announce that I was invited to be a Policy Advisor for the Heartland Institute. It means so much to me that they believe my work is strong enough to be published in a publication that is sent to virtually every state-level policy maker in the country.
In the invitation it said, "Our Board of Policy Advisors consists of more than two hundred academics, professional economists, and policy analysts who participate in the peer review of our policy studies and make themselves available to our writers, editors, public relations and government relations specialists Heartland’s core competence is in publishing and marketing the best work and ideas of all the leading free-market groups in the U.S. We send a Heartland publication on average once a week to every state and national elected official and 8,400 local officials . . . Our publications are designed to be read … and they are. According to a telephone survey of randomly selected state and local officials, 79 percent of state legislators and 53 percent of local officials read and respond to Heartland publications."
It truly is an honor and I promised them I would make them proud to have me on board!
