🎁✨ Do you remember when kids used to shop at Lazarus for their family? ✨🎅
We’re bringing that sweet holiday tradition back — right here in Urbana! 💛
Join us for the Kids Helping Hearts Holiday Market & Santa Photos at The 211 (211 N Main St) during Second Saturday in Urbana — Saturday, November 8th!
Just like the old days, kids can shop all on their own for family and friends — gifts priced between $1–$10 — while parents relax with cocoa and cookies. ☕🍪
We’ll have:
🎅 Pictures with Santa ($5–$10 donation)
🎁 A magical Kids-Only Gift Shop
🎀 Gift-Wrapping Station for kids’ purchases
☕ Hot cocoa, cookies & holiday cheer
💗 And every dollar raised will go directly to help Andy Mitterholzer as he bravely fights cancer, supporting him and his wife Margaret through this journey.
Margaret was hesitant to accept help — her heart is humble and kind — but she’s come to realize that sometimes, the most beautiful thing we can do is let our community come together to lift us up. 💞
We’re collecting donations now to make it all happen:
🎁 New gift items — toys, candles, books, jewelry, crafts, gift cards, home goods, etc.
🎀 Wrapping supplies — wrapping paper, tape, scissors, bows, tags, gift bags, tissue paper
🎄 Christmas décor — trees, garlands, lights, ornaments, and all the trimmings to make it magical
🙌 Volunteers — helpers to guide kids while shopping and wrap their gifts with care
