Medical Professionals are under attack. Defense firms must stand strong together and collaborate to protect our clients and ensure fair and efficient proceedings. The latest example is the Ohio Supreme Court’s pending case regarding whether the sham affidavit rule should apply with expert reports and later affidavits. If this rule is weakened it opens the door to manipulated testimony, prolonged litigation, and increased costs for all involved. Together, we must stand for consistency and integrity in the legal process.

Dalia G. Safadi, Esq. is a civil litigation attorney specializing in complex general and professional liability defense. She primarily focuses her practice on medical malpractice litigation, with specific experience in wrongful death and personal injury matters. She additionally has experience in health care privacy and transactional matters, having spent time working in-house at a health information network.

Dalia graduated from the George Washington University School of Law and was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 2022. While in law school, she participated in the Health Rights Law Clinic and was awarded the Best Oralist distinction at two separate Moot Court Competitions. She graduated with a specific concentration in Health Law is dedicated to effectively defending and advocating for health care professionals.

Welcome to TEAM POLING! Jaycie Kuhn graduated from Capital University Law School and was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 2024. Originally from Athens, Ohio, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University in 2021. Jaycie joined the team as a law clerk in the spring of 2024 and is excited to begin her legal career as an attorney at POLING.

Bridget earned her Juris Doctor, cm laude, from Capital University Law School, where she received the Barrister’s Academic Excellence Scholarship and gained practical experience through the Capital University Legal Clinic. She previously obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, magna cm laude, from The Ohio State University, where she worked as a research assistant in the Stress, Behavioral, and Health Disparities lab at Wexner Medical Center. Bridget gained legal experience as a law clerk in the Health Care Fraud section of the Ohio Attorney General’s office and in private practice handling personal injury cases. She is passionate about advocating for her clients and making a positive impact in the legal field.
