Ohio's historic battle over the state's legislative and congressional district maps continues.

Years ago, voters created a commission to make political maps fairer. Now the State Supreme Court is blocking maps drawn by the Republican-led commission, saying nothing has changed.

The Ohio Supreme Court rendered its decision today in the Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow v. Ohio State Board of Education. Congratulations to Organ Law's Erik Clark on another big win!

The Electronic Classroom of Tomorrow, can't challenge an order that it must repay $60 million to the state, a divided Ohio Supreme Court said.

On May 28, Organ Law attorneys Erik Clark and Ashley Merino obtained a multi-million dollar jury verdict in favor of their client.

In 2019, a former bank officer filed suit against his employer for breach of contract following a hostile take-over of the bank’s board of directors. On May 24, 2021, the parties appeared for jury trial before the Honorable William R. Finnegan in the Marion County Court of Common Pleas. After three days of hearing testimony and taking evidence, the jury returned its verdict in favor of the plaintiff and awarded him an amount of $2,400,000.

​Law firm Organ Cole LLP moved into its office at 1330 Dublin Road a little more than a year ago and has been putting the finishing touches on the space ever since. The remodeling project was a "total gut job" that took 14 months, Shawn Organ said.
