Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Tiara Carr, to the firm.

Tiara will be working with our team on estate planning, as well as estate and trust administration matters. Prior to joining our firm, Tiara spent a year clerking for a local Circuit Court judge, gaining valuable legal experience.

It is with great sadness and deep regret that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our colleague, Jim Walsh, over the weekend.

For over 35 years, Jim proudly served the Maryland community through his own private law practice centered around estate planning and estate and trust administration. Last year, Jim merged his practice with our firm to ensure his valued clients would continue to receive the thoughtful guidance and legal expertise they had come to expect as he began planning for his well-deserved retirement in 2028. His dedication to his clients, legal expertise and witty sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.

While Jim's time with our firm was far too short, we are honored that he chose to spend the final chapter of his distinguished legal career with our firm and we will continue to serve his clients with the same care, dignity and dedication that Jim always provided.

Our hearts are with his family, friends and clients during this difficult time. Additional information regarding services will be provided once available.

On this Memorial Day we hope everyone is able to spend some quality time with their loved ones. We are grateful and beyond appreciative to all those brave souls who lost their lives in service of our country so we can enjoy the freedoms we do today.

Five years ago today, my amazing sister and I opened the doors to Ally Legal Planning with a shared vision, a lot of determination, and a willingness to work harder than we ever had before. Today, we’re celebrating five years of growth, resilience, and meaningful work. We’re incredibly proud of how far this firm has come—but even more proud of our team who has helped make it possible.
