**Buying a brand-new home in Colorado Springs? Don’t walk into the model home unrepresented.**

The builder has a sales team protecting the builder’s interests.

You should have someone protecting yours.

In my newest blog, I explain why using your own buyer’s agent matters when purchasing **new construction in Colorado Springs**—from comparing builders and incentives to evaluating contracts, inspections, lot premiums, upgrades and total cost.

One of the biggest misunderstandings buyers have is assuming the builder’s sales representative is there to represent them.

They’re not.

When I represent you as your buyer’s agent, my responsibility is to advocate for **your interests**.

And in many new-build transactions, the builder may contribute toward buyer-agent compensation, meaning you may be able to have professional representation with little or no additional out-of-pocket brokerage cost.
