"If I'm only going to be here 2-4 years, does it make sense to buy a home?"

The answer is... maybe.

Colorado Springs has historically been one of the stronger rental markets around military installations, which is why many service members choose to purchase and then keep the property as a rental when they PCS again.

That can create long-term wealth and passive income opportunities.

But here's the truth: becoming a landlord isn't for everyone.

If you know you don't want the responsibility of owning a rental property after you leave, renting may be the better option while you're stationed here.
