Today is the inaugural meeting of the National Council for Expanding American Innovation (NCEAI). The NCEAI’s mission is to help the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) develop a comprehensive national strategy to increase participation in our innovation ecosystem by encouraging, empowering, and supporting all future innovators. A working model is not required to apply for and/or enforce a patent. Nothing illustrates this more than US Patent No. 4,666,425 Device for Perfusing an Animal Head. The reality is the device is designed to keep a severed head ALIVE!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!
According to the USPTO, "Progress & Potentional, 2020 Update on US women inventors-patentees" the number of women inventors is increasing! For example, "The women inventor rate (WIR)—that is, the share of women among all U.S. inventor-patentees—grew from 12.1% in 2016 to 12.8% by 2019." 📷 Woman still have a way to go though! Let's make sure we keep up the progress!😀
