From Kari —> Who knew being an attorney in small-town Ohio would open so many doors?

Last night's WORTH Center advisory board meeting reminded me why I'm grateful to serve. We heard from two men making a real difference: former Ohio State Buckeye Antonio Smith, who leads the CLEAN Foundation, and Elijah Kai, who teaches "The Mirror" class.

The WORTH Center helps people become successful, contributing members of the community, and we're lucky to have Judge Fox in Mercer County — a judge who believes in programs like WORTH and believes in the people in his courtroom. Punishment and rehabilitation, in balance. That's how it should work!!!

Happy LAST Boss’s Day, Judy!!! 🎉

We celebrated Boss’s Day a little early this year so our entire team could be together for this special occasion!

Don’t worry, Judy isn’t retiring… YET! 😉 But after more than 40 years of being the boss, she’ll officially be passing the reins to Kari on January 1!

We couldn’t let her last Boss’s Day go by without celebrating the wonderful boss, mentor, and leader she has been to all of us. ❤️

Hey, Kari here! 👋

Yesterday, I had the honor and privilege of serving as one of three panelists for a training for Guardian Ad Litems on the topic of working with self-represented parties.

A special thank you to Megan with Ohio CASA for recommending me as a panelist, and to Tracy with BWJP for the invitation and opportunity to be part of this conversation.

I’m always grateful for opportunities to connect with other GALs and share experiences from the field. 🫶🏼

The Coldwater Community Picnic is almost here!! There's plenty to see and do Thursday through Sunday, so get out, support our local businesses and organizations, and enjoy everything the picnic has to offer.

Stop by the sidewalk sales downtown and grab some lunch —Kari will be serving burgers with the Coldwater Ohio Kiwanis Club from 12:30–2:00 on Thursday and Shannon will be serving burgers on Friday from 11:00–12:30.

Then on Sunday, don't miss the parade! The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce will be handing out goodie bags filled with items from local businesses, including a little something from all of us at Koesters Law Office.
