Our members are from many walks of life - business owners, teachers, lawyers, entrepreneurs, tech workers, service workers, home makers and more. Each week we practice speaking and listening in entertaining and professional 1 hour sessions. Be our guest and see for yourself. We all are here to improve our confidence in leadership and speaking skills.

Todays Toastmaster meeting was full of 'Blooming' discussion. We covered the age-old question of do Transformers need Car insurance or Life insurance? We also covered '90s TV shows in table topics. Every week we're fortunate to learn something new from our speakers.

Last week we had a great meeting where we got to hear from two of our amazing Toastmasters. One of them talked about what they learned at a recent retreat and the other talked about their crazy trip to the Grand canyon.

This week we had a great meeting where we got to welcome back one of our former Toastmasters to Talk of the Town. We also got to have a icebreaker of one of our new members Connie who gave us a snapshot of a presentation she will be doing at a conference in the future.

This morning we had a Full House for our Open House! Thank you so much for our guests that braved the fog to join us this morning. If you miss the Open House you are more than welcome to come to one of our regular meetings every Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m.

Tomorrow is Talk of the Towns OPEN HOUSE! Our meeting will start promptly at 7:00 a.m. at Axe Force One in Coeur d'Alene. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the meeting starts to find a seat and get settled. There will have coffee and snacks. This will be a great opportunity to learn about Toastmasters and how it can benefit you Personally and Professionally by becoming a better communicator. Can't wait to see you there!!!

This week we had our Club speech contest for International and Humerus speeches to see which one of our Toastmasters would move on to the Area competition on February 7th. Sherry Diehl Leason placed First in both contests and Maura Bregante Durrant placed Second in both contests!

If you have a New Year's Resolution to become a better Speaker, Communicator or Leaders then Toastmasters can help you keep your resolution. Join us for our first meeting of 2026 tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. at Axe Force One in Coeur d'Alene. Toastmasters help you develop the skills you need to become a better speaker by allowing you to give speeches, you become a better communicator because you receive feedback every time you speak, and you become a better leader because you get to practice these skills every week. We meet every Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. meeting go until 8:00 a.m. message us if you have any questions or would like to learn more.

Last week we had a entertaining meeting with two very different speeches and unique table topics questions.

The best part of the week was having our Talk of the Town Christmas Party where we were able to come together and support our community by gathering non-perishable food items. We are so much more than just a place to give speeches.

This week we have our regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 a.m. Thursday morning at Axe Force One with a theme of "Donut Day, take 2".

Last week we had an amazing meeting where we got to hear from our member Sherry who practiced a speech that she will be giving at a conference next year. Toastmasters can be a great place to practice and get feedback for any kind of speaking engagement you may have.

At todays Mystery meeting no one knew there roles till they picked it out of the "Bag of Mystery". Our speakers did an amazing job coming up with a speech minutes before our meeting started. Toastmaster gives you the tools to speak no matter how much time you have to prepare. Join us next Thursday morning at 7:00am at Axe Force One
