After years of shaping land, energy, and resource policy at the state and federal level, Cally Younger has joined our firm to work more directly with the people on the ground.

Cally's career spans some of Idaho's most consequential regulatory work. She served as Legal Counsel and Policy Advisor at Idaho's Office of Species Conservation, then as General Counsel to Governor "Butch" Otter. She went on to spend more than seven years at the U.S. Department of the Interior as an Attorney-Advisor, Deputy Solicitor for the Division of Land Resources, and Counsel to the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.

Most recently, she served as Administrator of the Idaho Governor's Office of Species, Minerals, and Energy Coordination (OSMEC), where she led the consolidation of three state agencies into one.

At Malek + Malek, Cally focuses on government affairs, land and resource law, and transactional legal work.
