On May 14th, we laced up, took the field, and showed up for something bigger than ourselves. ๐ดโฝ
Red Day is one of our favorite days of the year because it reminds us why we do what we do. Not just to sell homes, but to serve the place we call home.
This year, Keller Williams Space Coast hosted a Kickball Tournament to benefit Matthewโs Hope, Brevard County a local, faith-based non-profit serving the homeless men, women, and children of Brevard right here in our own backyard. Their mission isn't just to provide a hand out... it's to offer a hand up: helping people rebuild their lives emotionally, physically, and vocationally, and walking with them toward independence and dignity. With a campus right here in Cocoa, this cause hits close to home, and that's exactly why we chose them. โค๏ธ
None of this would have been possible without the incredible people who believed in this event from the very beginning.
๐ Tournament Sponsors:
Jennifer Kline with Neighborhood Loans, Budget Breeze Ac and Violetโs Roll-off Service, Inc
Your generosity made this event possible, and your investment went straight to a cause that changes lives right here on the Space Coast.
๐ Field Sponsors:
Marker 24 Marina and Climate Experts Air Plumbing & Electric
Thank you for helping us create the space where community came together.
๐ฅฏ Rocket Bagels deli & catering sponsored our breakfast, treating every single sponsor, player, and volunteer to water, sports drinks, and bagels completely on them. That kind of generosity sets the tone for the whole day. Thank you! ๐
๐ BurgerRobs Restaurant brought the lunch everyone needed after those big kicks.
๐ฆ Strong Island Ice Cream brought the sweetness to close it all out.
โ Espresso Yourself Mobile Coffee kept the coffee flowing all day long.
And if that wasn't enough, they donated 10% of their proceeds directly to Matthew's Hope. That's not just generosity โ that's a business with a heart. Thank you ๐
And then there was the Raffle Table. One of the highlights of the day. ๐๏ธ Our incredible agents and vendors came through with beautifully curated themed gift baskets, each one donated with so much heart. From the themed baskets to the 50/50 raffle, every ticket purchased meant more support for Matthewโs Hope, Brevard County and the families they serve. Thank you to everyone who donated a basket and to everyone who bought a ticket, you made it count.
But the biggest thank you of all goes to every Keller Williams Space Coast agents who took time out of their day - no listings, no contracts, no closings - just pure heart. You showed up to serve, to give, and to remind this community that it is seen, it is loved, and it is worth fighting for.
Love that! Here's the updated closing section to add before the final sign-off:
And none of this would have happened without the vision, dedication, and heart of one very special person: Julie Jones Realtor ๐ Months of preparation, endless coordination, and true teamwork all came together on May 14th because of her leadership. Julie, you poured yourself into this event and it showed in every single detail. The final donation to Matthew's Hope wasn't just a number... it was the result of your hard work and everyone who believed in this mission alongside you. We see you, we appreciate you, and this community is better because of you. Thank you! โค๏ธ
To everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and cheered... thank you for being a person who supports community. A person who supports a cause. A person who wants to give back to the place they call home.
This is what community looks like. This is what we look like. โค๏ธ
