🌷 Spring & Summer 2026: The Ultimate Chester County Event Guide! ☀️
The days are getting longer, the weather is (eventually) getting warmer, and the Chester County calendar is officially packed! Whether you’re a foodie, an art lover, or just looking for a great weekend out, here is what’s happening locally from now through June.
🗓️ FEBRUARY & MARCH: Food & Flowers
West Chester Restaurant Week (Feb 22 – March 1): The perfect excuse to skip cooking. Dozens of downtown spots are offering special multi-course prix fixe menus.
Longwood Gardens Spring Blooms (Begins late March): Shake off the winter blues when the tulips, azaleas, and wisteria return to the gardens. Pro-tip: Catch the "Winter Wonder" exhibit before it ends in early March!
🎥 APRIL: Lights, Camera, Jazz
West Chester Film Festival (April 24 – 26): Catch short films from around the world right here in town. Pop-up events and workshops take over the borough all weekend.
Kennett Jazz & Funk Festival (April 24 – 26): Kennett Square comes alive with music! Expect great live performances at venues like The Kennett Flash and The Creamery.
Town Tours & Village Walks Kick-off (April 30): History buffs, mark your calendars! The 2026 season kicks off in West Chester Borough to celebrate our local heritage.
🎨 MAY: Horses, Art & Street Eats
Phoenixville Food Truck Festival (May 2): Bring your appetite to Bridge Street. This is one of the region's biggest food truck gatherings with vendors, music, and crafts.
Chester County Studio Tour (May 16 – 17): Go behind the scenes! Local artists open their studios to the public for a weekend of touring, buying, and seeing how the magic happens.
The Devon Horse Show & Country Fair (May 20 – 31): The oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the U.S. returns! Don't miss the ferris wheel, the fancy hats, and the world-class jumping.
🎈 JUNE: BBQ, Balloons & Block Parties
Chester County Blues BBQ (June 6): Head to Wyndsor Farm in Elverson for the 14th annual festival. Good music, great BBQ, and local craft beer.
Chester County Balloon Festival (June 19 – 21): New Location Alert! This year it’s at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds. Hot air balloons, helicopter rides, and family fun all Father’s Day weekend.
Upper Uwchlan Block Party (June 20): A classic summer community night with fireworks, food, and music on Route 100.
World Music Day (June 21): Musicians take to the sidewalks and plazas of downtown West Chester for a day of free live performances to welcome the summer solstice.
