๐Ÿก ALEX & RACHEL ARE ROTTERDAM HOMEOWNERS! ๐ŸŽ‰

And after waiting just shy of 13 monthsโ€ฆ We can officially say the wait was worth it!

Last July, I helped Alex & Rachel sell the home I had also helped them buy. At our first meeting, we talked about the reality of trying to buy in a VERY hot market with a home to sell. We discussed contingent offers, timing, and what it might take to make their next move happen.

They decided to sell, get their equity, pack up the cats ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿˆ and move in with his Mom & Dad while we waited for the right house.

And then THIS ONE came along. ๐Ÿ˜ Rachel definitely found her sparkle at this showing when she looked at Alex and said: โ€œAlex, PLEASE!โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚

Seth & Lauren decided to make the move to NY after securing local teaching jobs and thatโ€™s when their house hunt began!

They connected with me on June 11th after finding one of my listings online. Unfortunately, they got beat out in a multiple-offer situation. ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

BUT they wanted to keep working with me! ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿก We continued to tour homes virtually (thank goodness for FaceTime!), navigated the process from afar, and eventuallyโ€ฆ

Jared and Brittany are first time homebuyers who had been living with Brittany's parents and working hard to save for homeownership. And on a personal note... I went to high school with Brittany's mom, which means I'm officially at the age where the children of people I went to school with are buying houses. ๐Ÿ˜ณFeeling old!!๐Ÿ˜‚

Their journey wasn't without a few bumps. The very first home we saw resulted in multiple offers, and unfortunately, we got beat out. The homes that followed just weren't ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’๐’๐’†.

๐Ÿคณ๐Ÿ“ฒThen came a call... and this time, everything aligned.

One of my colleagues had an upcoming listing in Glenville and reached out because, apparently, he knew to ask the โ€œ๐‘ธ๐’–๐’†๐’†๐’ ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ฎ๐’๐’†๐’๐’—๐’Š๐’๐’๐’†โ€ if I had a buyer. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘‘

And I immediately thought...

๐Ÿคฉ๐˜๐„๐’! ๐˜๐„๐’ ๐ˆ ๐ƒ๐Ž! And they agreed it was THE ONE! ๐Ÿคฉ

Even without competing offers, there were still some challenges to work through, but we kept moving forward and ๐ฐ๐ž ๐ฆ๐š๐๐ž ๐ข๐ญ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž!

Now, Jared and Brittany can walk down the aisle at the end of the summer knowing they have a home of their own to come back to. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿกโค๏ธ
