We’re moving! 📦✨

The Kimbrell Law Firm, P.C. is excited to announce that beginning October 15th, our office will officially be located at:

(Right next to Scooters ☕️)

Our office hours will remain the same, and we will continue to see clients by appointment only.

🏔️⚖️ MOUNTAIN LAWYER CHRONICLES: May the Scheduling Odds Be Ever in Your Favor 🏹🥎⚾️📅

I’m mapping out September and October, and somewhere between 6U baseball, two 10U softball teams, school clubs, practices, different counties, arrival times, jersey colors, and “Mom, I need ___ tomorrow” at 8:47 p.m., our family calendar stopped looking like a schedule and started looking like evidence for trial. 😂

My husband and I live in the same house. We communicate. We’re both involved. We’re on the same team and working from the same playbook.

And coordinating two busy kids is STILL a full-scale logistical operation.

So Family Lawyer Me has a little extra sympathy today for divorced parents doing this from two households—who may not be on the same team anymore, working from the same playbook, or even agreeing on the rules of the game.

Add exchanges, stepparents, work schedules, equipment at the wrong house, the jersey in Mom’s washing machine, the glove in Dad’s truck, a last-minute schedule change, and the school paper discovered at the bottom of a backpack 14 minutes before it’s due. 😵‍💫

Then add the fear that one mistake becomes Exhibit A: Evidence That You Are Clearly the Inferior Parent. ⚖️😂

So, before fall ball officially becomes The Parenting Hunger Games:

📅 Share the calendar. Google, a parenting app, Skylight—whatever works. The point is that BOTH parents have the information.

🥎 Include the details. Arrival time. Game time. Field. Uniform. Equipment. Save everyone 17 follow-up texts.

📸 Send the actual schedule. There is no trophy for being the sole possessor of picture-day information.

🤝 Don’t use information as leverage. Nobody should have to conduct discovery to figure out where their kid plays Saturday. 😉

❤️ Give each other some grace. Good parents forget things. Cleats get left behind. Jerseys end up at the wrong house. Somebody misses the tiny “ARRIVE 45 MINUTES EARLY.”

You don’t have to be on the same team anymore.

But when it comes to your kids, you should still be playing toward the same goal.

Get them to Field 3. In approximately the correct uniform. Wearing both cleats. Preferably fed. 😂

And make sure they know both sides of the stands are cheering for them. ❤️

Some weeks, that’s the championship. 🏆
