📵 In light of the ongoing litigation against Meta, there is something we desperately want parents and families to know.
Right now, Meta is on trial over allegations involving the impact its social media platforms have had on children and teens.
And while that case plays out in court, we know there may be families reading this who recognize some of these issues in their own lives.
If you, your child, or someone you love is 25 or younger, was a heavy social media user during childhood or adolescence, and experienced serious mental health issues including depression, severe anxiety, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, suicidal thoughts or attempts, or self-harm, we would like to hear from you.
If this sounds familiar, we've included a short confidential form in the comments where you can tell us a little more about what happened.
We are currently speaking with individuals and families affected by prolonged use of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube, particularly when that use began between ages 5 and 17 and averaged three or more hours per day.
Please think about the young people in your life. If someone immediately comes to mind, share this post with them or their family.
You don't need to know whether you have a case before reaching out. That's a conversation we can have with you privately.
The confidential short form is linked in the comments below, or you can call Lowe Trial Lawyers directly at (440) LOWE-LAW.
