⚖️Susan Blasik-Miller and Meredith Turner-Woolley Achieve Favorable Outcome for Orthopedic Surgeon⚖️

Reminger achieved a favorable outcome defending an orthopedic surgeon in a wrong-site surgery case. The defense admitted negligence and denied that a battery occurred. The plaintiff sought $3.5-7.0M in closing.

The jury returned a $250,000 verdict and allocated 50% fault to a non-party hospital, reducing the client’s liability to $125,000, while rejecting claims for battery and punitive damages. The ultimate verdict matched the last settlement offer.
