On Sunday, September 27, a team from our New York office braved a nor’easter to participate in the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K Run & Walk.

This marked the third year the office has organized a team for the event, which raises funds to provide mortgage-free homes to families of fallen first responders and military service members.

This year’s event was especially meaningful as it marked the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. More than 40,000 people participated in what has become a signature event in New York City.

Held under the auspices of the International Breast Cancer Paddlers' Commission, the festival celebrates dragon boat paddling as a powerful form of post-diagnosis rehabilitation for breast cancer survivors.

We are especially excited that our very own Denise Evans will be participating with GoPink!DC, Washington, D.C.’s only dragon boat team for persons touched by breast cancer! A cancer survivor herself, Denise's participation on the dragon boat team is an inspiring testament to her strength and resilience.
