On Tuesday, May 19, our NYC office hosted a wonderful morning with clients and contacts at an executive breakfast program at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. The group had a chance to see Raphael: Sublime Poetry – a landmark exhibition and the first major international loan exhibition dedicated to the Italian Renaissance master. The exhibition featured more than 200 of his most significant works, many of which have never before been shown together.

We are pleased to share that Thompson Hine partners Karen Boyd and Jennifer Seraphine on being shortlisted for the ALM/Law.com 2026 California Legal Awards.

Jennifer has been named one of just seven honorees in the Women Leaders in Tech Law – Intellectual Property category. Karen has been named one of 12 honorees in the Mentorship category. The awards will be presented at a dinner in Los Angeles on June 24.

Last month, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with some of the incredible people who have helped shape Thompson Hine over the years.

We gathered at a local brewery for an evening of great conversation, familiar faces, and a few well-deserved drinks. Whether alumni spent years at the firm or were here for a shorter chapter, it was a reminder that the Thompson Hine community doesn't end when someone moves on, it grows.

One of our greatest strengths has always been our people, and evenings like this make that clear. We're so grateful to everyone who joined us and made the night so memorable.

Thompson Hine was proud to support the Care in the Air Gala, held at the Wright Brothers Aero Hangar in Dayton. Sponsored by four Premier Health Foundations—Atrium Medical Center Foundation, Good Samaritan Foundation, Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, and Upper Valley Medical Center Foundation—this black-tie event celebrated the impact of air medical care across our region and honored the dedicated CareFlight patients and crew who make it possible.

Guests had the opportunity to view the next-generation CareFlight AW169 helicopter—the fastest, largest, and most advanced air ambulance in the region. Proceeds from the gala support the acquisition of this critical aircraft, ensuring our community continues to receive world-class emergency air medical services.

Representing our Dayton office were Justin Elkin, Gabriella Fletcher, Cori Haper, and Arik Sherk. Cori serves as a board member of the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, and Arik is trustee emeritus—reflecting our firm's deep commitment to the communities we serve.
