Our Firm is proud to support the Siegel & Shuster Society (creators of Superman) and we have been working for several years to help them bring a Superman statue to downtown Cleveland.

While this process has not been faster than a speeding bullet…we see light at the end of the tunnel!

Of all the projects…this is my Brother’s favorite.

Plans for a Superman statue and plaza in Downtown Cleveland are going before the City Planning Commission starting this week. The plaza is to be located at the northeast corner of Ontario Street and St. Clair Avenue. That’s next to the newly expanded Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

The statue of Superman would honor the comic book character as well as the two Clevelanders, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, who created one of America’s first and most beloved superheroes. It also features Joanne Siegel, the model for Superman’s girlfriend Lois Lane, and, on the right, the phone booth in which Daily Planet reporter Clark Kent turns into Superman.

“We have the support of the Cuyahoga County Council, the Convention Center board and DC Comics/Warner Brothers,” the Siegel & Shuster Society stated in a post on their page. “We still have a few more steps to take before 100 percent approval, but we are getting very close.”
