A mentor can change the trajectory of your career.
One of the highlights of my recent trip to Chicago wasn’t sightseeing—it was spending time over breakfast with my notary mentor, Stella Parhas.
For more than a decade, Stella has been a trusted source of wisdom, encouragement, and practical knowledge. She’s been someone I could call with questions, celebrate victories with, and learn from through every stage of my notary journey.
In a profession where the details matter, having someone who’s already walked the path is invaluable.
Whether you’re just becoming a notary or you’ve been commissioned for years, never stop learning. Find someone whose experience you respect. Ask questions. Stay teachable. Invest in your growth.
Today, I’m grateful not only for the knowledge I’ve gained, but for the relationship we’ve built over the years.
Thank you, Stella, for reminding me that the best professionals never stop being students.
Who’s been a mentor that’s made a difference in your life or career? I’d love to hear about them in the comments.
