• Walk with a group when possible

Riding a bike:
• Always wear a properly fitted helmet
• Ride with traffic
• Stop fully before crossing

Taking the bus:
• Stand at least 6 feet from the curb

Getting dropped off:

We’re wishing a heartfelt Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures who show up with strength, compassion, and unwavering support.

Our team meets families every day who are navigating some of life’s toughest moments, and we’re constantly reminded of the quiet dedication so many fathers bring to their loved ones. Today is a chance to honor the men who teach, guide, encourage, and stand steady through every chapter.

Whether you’re celebrating, being celebrated, or taking time to remember someone who shaped your life, we hope the day brings meaning, comfort, and appreciation.

With Fireworks Safety Month underway and July 4th just around the corner, our team is reminding Florida families to stay safe — and prepared — in case an injury happens during a fireworks display.

If someone is hurt or property is damaged, taking the right steps early can make a big difference for both safety and any potential legal claim.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Get medical care right away so injuries are documented and treated promptly.
• Take photos, gather witness names, and make a quick timeline of what happened.
• Hold onto any product packaging or device pieces so liability can be evaluated.
• Notify insurance carriers and keep track of every communication.
• Reach out for legal guidance early to understand your rights and options.

We’re here to help if you or someone you know experiences a fireworks-related injury this summer. Contact us anytime to talk through what to do next.

Our team at Scott Marshall Injury Attorneys helps Florida workers navigate these more complex claims with confidence and clarity.

Wondering if your gradual injury could qualify for workers’ comp? Give us a call today. We’re here to help.
