Good News! The following announcement was received today from the Bankruptcy Court Clerk!
The Intake Counter for the Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Tennessee (Room 170) is reopening Monday, June 14, 2021. Intake services will resume Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00PM. Over-the-counter fee payments will be accepted beginning on that date. Payments made by cash must be in the correct amount as the Clerk does not provide change. The drop-box located at the back entrance of the building will be relocated to the Intake Department’s waiting area.

Persons coming to the building for Bankruptcy Court business are asked to adhere to the directions provided by the Customs House Facility Security Committee (posted signage/Court Security Officers). Visitors to Room 170 or the Bankruptcy Court must follow the COVID-19 protocols set forth by Court.

Please note: The Second Floor of the Customs House remains closed to the public unless an in-person matter is ordered by the Court.
