You move into your new flipped house, suddenly the winter of cold and frozen pipes strikes and you can’t figure out why your bathroom pipe froze and burst. Should have got that home inspection!

The question is always asked, why do I need a home inspection on a new construction. Well let us show you why. Sure there are township inspections. We recommend for new construction getting a pre drywall inspection before the builder starts concealing the structure, a home inspection once the build is done and it’s almost move in time, AND an 11 month warranty inspection while the home is still under the 1 year builders warranty. There are always oversights and the right thorough home inspector can catch a lot missed by township inspections!

Disclaimer. Everything highlighted in this video is wrong. Everyone was wondering why they smelled sewage gas during first seeing the house, think we found the source. Just a small sniper of the issues found at today’s inspection that helped better inform these clients about their next home! Doesn’t mean they can’t buy it, but things need to be fixed and done properly!

This is just a small SLITHER of what I found on today’s property. Roof was “new” and I found 5 locations of roof leakage. Some of these social media guys make it look super easy and fun doing an 11 month warranty inspection on a new construction. That’s great but have you ever tried the 1885 construction with 4 different additions over 150 years. These properties are challenging and complicated!
