Well, well, well, what do we have here? Just my biggest art project to date! All of this started one day at 2:00 a.m.; a sketch followed by a few paper models and ultimately with a scale model made of foamcore...working out every detail first in 3-D scale. Begun in fury July of 2002 followed by a very long hiatus; work and building our other house slowed my progress on this “farmhouse”. Finally, as it stands today, I have only a few details to work through and some have been addressed since the photos were taken. So, to my family and friends who’ve wondered what the heck I’ve been doing this last year I present my iteration of our modern farmhouse; a house in the proper vernacular of 1890 on the outside and an open concept modern vision inside.
