A quick clarification for property owners in our area:

Chad Holland Real Estate (CHRE) continues to receive a significant number of calls, texts, emails and messages from owners offering properties for sale, rent or lease directly, as well as owners whose properties are already represented by other real estate brokerages, asking us to send our buyer and rental inquiries their way.

We certainly understand why. Demand for homes, rentals, land and other properties throughout our area has created a tremendous amount of interest.

However, CHRE cannot serve as an informal marketing or referral service for properties we do not represent.

If your property is already listed with another real estate brokerage, your listing broker or agent is responsible for marketing your property and communicating with other brokers regarding cooperation and any compensation arrangements.

If you are offering a property for sale, rent or lease directly, CHRE does not maintain or distribute a separate inventory of those properties to the buyers and prospective tenants who contact our office. If we are representing a qualified client whose needs appear to match your property, we may contact you at that time to determine whether an appropriate brokerage arrangement can be established.

Our responsibility is first and foremost to the clients we represent.

We have invested many years in building the relationships, marketing reach, technology and reputation that generate the inquiries coming into our office. We are always glad to discuss professionally representing property owners who would like to put those resources to work marketing their property.

Quick question: what's the one word you'd use to describe this year so far?
