Society for Law and the Arts Society for Law and the Arts is a student organization at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, focusing on law that intersects with art and culture.

The purpose of the Society for Law and the Arts (“SLA”) is to expose students to areas oflaw that intersect with the arts (visual and performance), literature, and cultural heritage, and to provide a hub for arts-related activities. SLA promotes awareness of current issues and potential career paths within related areas of law by organizing meetings with guest speakers and maintaining relationship
