A signed personal guaranty can completely change your collection strategy.

Before extending credit — or before assuming a debt is “only” owed by the business — it is worth reviewing:

• Who signed the guaranty
• What obligations were guaranteed
• Whether the guaranty is enforceable
• Whether attorneys’ fees, costs, and interest are recoverable
• What remedies are available if payment stops
