Brothers In Christ Global is new 501c3 non-for-profit based in Chicago. We are looking for a part time (with the potential of full time) Social Media Manager/ Office assistant to join our team. This individual will directly assist the President and Vice president. This person will be responsible for making existing social media more efficient and productive.

Other responsibilities include:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of B.I.C. Global’s ministry and mission to improve the spiritual, mental, physical and financial health in undeserved neighborhoods of Chicago.
• Keep website and all social media sites updated and current with content and events
• Develop new informative content for website and all social media sites
• Follow up with all requests from website and social media
• Expand and grow our followers on social media
• Develop successful social media and in person fundraising events
• Develop successful campaign for volunteers
• Assist in creating social events that assist in accomplishing ministry goals

Requirements:

• High School diploma acceptable but Bachelor's degree in marketing or advertising preferred
• Self-motivated with excellent writing, communication and critical thinking skills
• Self-starter, fast learner, ability to work without direct supervision
• Direct experience working with Google and Facebook add platform
• Experience setting up Google and Facebook accounts
• Facebook ads expert
• Some experience with Google Analytics (or similar platform), WordPress, Shopify, MailChimp and other digital solutions.
• Well versed in the use of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Benefits

Pay rate $15-$17/hr. Employees are paid a base hourly rate for meeting the minimum performance standard, plus may earn additional bonus pay per hour for exceeding the minimum performance standard. Employees never earn less than minimum wage for the hours that they work.
