Imagine spending 3 years building a brand...

Only to find out someone else owns it. ☕️

Sounds crazy.

It happens all the time.

One of the biggest reasons?

People think buying a domain name means they own the brand.

It doesn't.

A domain name only gives you rights to that web address.

It does not give you trademark rights.

I've watched business owners invest thousands into websites, content, SEO, and ads before learning this lesson the hard way.

By then, changing the name isn't just annoying.

It's expensive.

That's why checking trademark availability should happen before you go all in on a brand.

Not after.

Most business owners come to us feeling overwhelmed by the trademark process.

They're worried they'll make a mistake.

They're unsure what to file.

They're afraid they'll spend money and still get it wrong.

Then they realize something.

Protecting your brand doesn't have to be stressful when you have the right team guiding you.

I was reading through a few recent reviews, and the same themes kept showing up:

Clear communication.

Fast responses.

A process that feels simple.

And a team that genuinely cares. ❤️

That's not an accident.

We've spent years building systems and training our team to make trademark protection feel less intimidating and more doable.

Because protecting your brand shouldn't feel harder than building it.

Huge shoutout to Almira, Reyna, and our Fulfillment Team for showing up for our clients every day. 👏

And thank you to clients for trusting us with something so important.

It never gets old.

If you've been putting off protecting your brand because the process feels overwhelming, our Book a Consult link is in the first comment.

We had a client call us from Hawaii once. 🌴
She was supposed to be on vacation. Instead, she was in tears. She'd just received a cease and desist letter and had 14 days to rebrand her podcast.

That call changed everything for us. It's why trademarks are ALL we do.

Most solopreneurs think they're covered because they have an LLC, a domain name, or social media handles. None of those protects your brand name. Only a trademark does. ⚠️

Joey was recently featured on The Aspiring Solopreneur podcast, breaking all of this down in plain English. No legal jargon, no fluff. Just the stuff you actually need to know to protect what you've built.

Give it a listen. The link is in the first comment.

One of the fastest ways to lose momentum in business?

Building a brand you don’t actually own.

I’ve seen it happen way too many times lately.

A business finally starts getting traction 📈

Sales are coming in.
People are talking about them.
They invest in ads, SEO, content, the whole thing.

Then a trademark issue pops up.

Now they’re forced to rebrand.
New name.
New website.
New social handles.
Starting from scratch.

Meanwhile…

The businesses that took trademarks seriously early on are scaling with confidence 🔒

They’re landing partnerships.
Getting press.
Hiring teams.
Growing without looking over their shoulder every week.

Your brand is either becoming more valuable every day…

Or more vulnerable.

The good news is most trademark problems are preventable if you catch them early.

I put the next step in the first comment 👇

We just crossed 2,000 trademark clients.

And 200+ Google reviews.

Every one of those is a business that trusted us with their name.

That’s not something we take lightly.

This didn’t start as some big operation.

It was small.

Scrappy.

Figuring things out as we went.

Now we’ve helped protect thousands of brands.

Still kind of wild to think about.

Grateful for every single one. 🙏

It looks like any other email.

Then you see it’s from a law firm.

And your stomach drops.

“Stop using the name.”

“Stop selling the product.”

“Cease all activity or face legal action.” 😬

That’s a cease and desist.

And for a lot of founders, that’s the moment it clicks…

Their brand was never actually protected.

Here’s the worst part:

That email never shows up when you’re small.

It shows up when you’re growing.

When the name is everywhere.

When customers know you for it.

Now your options?

None of them are great.

Fight it.

Pay for a long, messy legal battle.

Try to negotiate.

Spend time and money you didn’t plan for.

Or rebrand.

And start all over.

The founders who never get that email didn’t just get lucky.

They filed before anyone had a reason to come after them.

If your brand isn’t protected yet… you’re rolling the dice.

If you want to know where you stand, we’ll take a look.

We’ll tell you what’s safe.

What’s not.

And what to do next.

No pressure. Just clear answers. 👍

Most founders think this:

“I came up with the name… so I own it.”

Feels right.

It’s wrong.

Trademark law doesn’t care who thought of it first.

It cares who protected it first.

That’s where people get burned.

I’ve seen businesses spend years building a brand.

Content.

Ads.

Word of mouth.

Then someone else files the trademark. 😬

Now they’re stuck proving they used it first.

Sometimes they can.

Sometimes they can’t.

And sometimes the legal fight isn’t even worth it.

Here’s the part most people miss:

Using a name is not the same as owning it.

Filing the trademark is what makes it yours.

If your name isn’t protected yet… that’s a risk.

If you want to know where you stand, we’ll take a look.

We’ll tell you what’s safe.

What’s not.

And what to do next.

No pressure. Just clear answers. 👍
